Jessica Peterson MD, MPH

Director of Society Relations

Jessica received her MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2016, and her MPH in Health Systems and Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  Throughout medical school and her MPH curriculum, Jessica was heavily involved in leadership in her school, county, state, and national societies, culminating as student director of the Wisconsin Medical Society Board of Directors, and National Vice Chair of the AMA-Medical Student Section.  Her dedication to the amplification of medicine’s voice in health policy and regulation and to functional and effective health systems improvements led Jessica to pursue a career in health policy and systems consulting after medical school. Jessica currently serves as the Manager of Quality and HIT Policy at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and as the Director of Society Relations for the Health Policy Fellowship Initiative.
